Pastors Wives Kenya

The Pastor’s Wives Studies Program was begun in 1987 for the expressed purpose of training wives of Baptist Pastors and wives of seminary students as well as, Bible School students. This ministry was begun in order to aide these women to grow in their own personal relationship to the Lord, and to help them grow in their ability to work alongside their husband and to support him in his ministry.
These women are seen as leaders because their husband is the pastor of the church. Some are highly educated, others are unable to read or write, but God has a plan to use them to work alongside their husband.
Some of these women work in urban areas and others are from the rural areas where there is little food and subsistent farming is the only way to provide for their families.
The wives of pastors and leaders here in Kenya have the opportunity to reach their areas for Christ. God has blessed and made it possible to have schools among the Maasai, Giriama, Kikuyu, and Taita. This ministry is bearing fruit for the future. We are seeing God lead in starting new schools throughout Kenya. A goal of this team is to impact unreached people groups; reaching women in order to help stimulate a church planting movement in Kenya.
